Why travelers love it

“Adults‑only all‑inclusive resort on Barbados’s west coast with spa, water sports and ocean‑view rooms.”

Guests praise the ocean‑front location, relaxed adults‑only atmosphere, and variety of water sports and evening entertainment.

Food & drink

Strong

Food punches above the resort's price bracket with Caribbean-leaning menus that rotate between à la carte, barbecue, and buffet nights. Temperature complaints and thin variety surface occasionally, and gluten-free travelers should look elsewhere.

Dining overview

The resort features two primary restaurants, a food truck, and multiple bars. The main dining venue, Sunset Restaurant, is an al fresco, oceanfront restaurant serving breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea, and dinner. Enid's Restaurant offers classic Bajan and Caribbean cuisine for dinner in an air-conditioned setting. Additionally, the Bajan Breezes Food Truck provides casual, oceanfront lunch and snacks. Bars include the Beach Bar, Sunset Bar, Piano Bar, and Rum Shop Bar.

Beach

Strong

There is no true beach on property, just a seafront terrace with steps into the water, but world-famous Sandy Lane beach is a two-minute walk away. Snorkeling straight off the resort is a genuine highlight.

Detailed beach reporting coming soon.

Pools

Strong

Three well-kept pools spread the crowd, so sunbeds are easy to claim even in high season. Sturdy loungers with real cushions are a small detail regulars keep mentioning.

Rooms & suites

161 rooms

Room types include Garden View, Superior Garden View, Oceanfront, Superior Oceanfront, One-Bedroom Garden View Suite, and One-Bedroom Oceanfront Suite. Rooms may offer private balconies or patios.

What’s included

Strong

For the price bracket, most travelers walk away feeling the all-inclusive earned its keep, particularly repeat visitors. Anyone expecting a polished four-star product with luxe finishes will feel oversold.

Package inclusions and upgrade access have not been collected yet. Confirm them for your room and dates when booking.

Amenities & activities

Couples

Good fit

A calm, mature-skewing adults-only spot that suits seasoned couples looking to unwind rather than honeymooners chasing romance theater. Nightly live entertainment can intrude on the 'tranquil' promise some couples booked for.

Families

Not a fit

Adults-only policy rules out children entirely, so this is not a family destination.

Peace & Quiet

Strong

The default vibe is genuinely low-key: small footprint, mature crowd, and a 'deafening quiet' during the day that some love and others find sleepy. Evenings flip the switch with two hours of live music that carries across the property.

Includes spa, salon, fitness centre, three freshwater pools plus whirlpool, tennis court, motorized and non‑motorized water sports, evening entertainment, manager’s cocktail party, salon, sauna, steam room.

What past guests say

“My friend and I came here for our first time in Barbados, and I couldn’t say enough about this resort, the staff , and crew! Everyone was so nice, helpful, and accommodating . Everyone we met, who was also staying here with so much fun. We even made some new friends that we plan to keep in touch with . Great food, great drinks, great music, and great entertainment. Definitely a laid-back vibe which I truly appreciated. We wanted to relax and not be on a schedule of go go go . The Bajan...”

“Read before arriving! 🌴 Great stay, amazing staff and fantastic location. Clean rooms and great facilities. If you need an exceptional contact ask the staff for: Steve Island Tours - 10/10 service. He took us to the Oistins fish fry and got us seated at the best seat in the house no waiting just straight in (always who you know). As well as this he took us to Harrison caves and waited for us outside - super friendly guy and he compliments the hotel perfectly. Made sure my Dad and I were...”

“Enjoyed a ten night stay…Relaxing environment, friendly staff especially the ladies working in the restaurant.. Did have a couple of small issues but after speaking with the hotel rep, they were resolved… Have to make a special mention to Steve… STEVE ISLAND TOURS…Whether it was arranging the jet skis or catamaran trips he always delivered… And his Oistins fish restaurant experience was great…No standing in line, straight inside, seated at a great table and waiting to take you home when your...”

“Unfortunately, my experience with the booking process has been disappointing so far. Breanna advised me that she would send the payment link immediately, but I had to follow up the following day to receive it. When I called to explain that I had not received the email and had already checked my spam folder, I was told that they were fully booked for the month. What I found particularly concerning was that she did not even ask for my name to check whether my reservation was on record. After...”

“This resort is a smaller scaled Ocean front (no beach) resort. The staff was very kind and the customer service was awesome. I particularly liked Jocelyn & Mya's excellent customer service at the dining hall. The variety of food was good with a reasonable amount of options. There were no elevators in my building, so keep that in mind if you have physical challenges. The climbing of stairs to the 4th floor was too much for my vacay and I would not do that ever again🤦🏾‍♀️”

What you should know

What to Know

This is a small, slightly worn charmer, not a polished luxury product, and knowing that upfront changes everything. Budget for the Barbados tourism levy, expect stairs, and book dinner times at breakfast.

BGI nearest airport~30 min transfer

Guests must be 16 or older. A resort fee of US$24 per room per night is payable locally and includes Wi-Fi. Room service is available for an additional charge.
