Anse Chastanet — all travelers all-inclusive in St Lucia, Saint Lucia. Detailed editorial coming soon.
Food & drink
StrongChef-prepared dining well above typical all-inclusive fare, with strong vegan and gluten-free accommodation across multiple venues. The Beach Restaurant and the jungle-set Anse Mamin outpost are the standout meals.
high confidence
What you'll enjoy
- Chef-plated dinners, not buffet
- Extensive vegan and gluten-free options
- Beach Restaurant right on the water
- Anse Mamin jungle restaurant worth the walk
Heads up
- AI plan portions can feel excessive
- Non-guest prices at Mamin run high
Dining overview
Several open‑air restaurants including beachfront venues; fresh on‑site grown ingredients, beach bars; multiple cuisine styles.
Beach
StandoutTwo dark-sand beaches with calm, crystal-clear water and a protected reef starting a few fins from shore. Snorkeling turns up turtles, grouper, and vivid coral without ever leaving the property.
high confidence
What you'll enjoy
- Two distinct beaches (Anse Chastanet and Anse Mamin)
- House reef with turtles and tropical fish
- Cabanas, loungers, and beach service for guests
- Calm, swimmable water
Heads up
- Dark sand, not the classic white
- Day-visitor area feels cramped and pricey
Two soft‑sand beaches (Anse Chastanet and Anse Mamin) linked by coastal walkway; excellent snorkeling and diving; palms huts, lounge beds and beach butler service available.
Pools
WeakThere is no pool: the property is built around its two beaches and reef instead. If your ideal day is a swim-up bar, this is the wrong resort.
high confidence
What you'll enjoy
- Beaches and reef stand in for a pool
- Beach bars deliver drinks to loungers
Heads up
- No pool on property
- No swim-up bar or pool deck scene
Detailed pool reporting coming soon.
Rooms & suites
49 rooms49 individually designed rooms scattered on a hillside and beach level, many open‑air with natural ventilation; Beachside Deluxe rooms are the only ones with air conditioning; no TVs or phones in rooms.
Room details here are AI-assisted, compiled from the resort's own website and public sources. Categories and names change often — confirm the exact room when you book.
What’s included
StrongThe all-inclusive plan earns its price for couples chasing setting, service, and food quality, though rooms are intentionally rustic and lack AC in most categories. Day visitors and pool-seekers will find the math less kind.
medium confidence
What you'll enjoy
- AI plan covers breakfast, lunch, tea, cocktails, and 4-course dinners
- Complimentary upgrades reported at check-in
- Service level matches the price tag
- Package deals through Costco and similar bundle excursions
Heads up
- Most rooms have no AC, only fans
- Fridge stocks water only, sodas and beer extra
- Day-visitor lounger fees feel steep
Package inclusions and upgrade access have not been collected yet. Confirm them for your room and dates when booking.
Amenities & activities
Couples
IdealA honeymoon and anniversary favorite where open-air hillside suites frame the Pitons and the sunset. Seclusion, star-filled skies, and staff who learn your name make it feel tailor-made for two.
high confidence
What you'll enjoy
- Open-air rooms with Piton views
- Private, spread-out layout, no noise between rooms
- Sunset sails and beach cocktails
- Welcome champagne and turn-down touches
Families
StretchFamilies with older kids and teens do well here thanks to snorkeling, kayaks, SUPs, and two beaches, and the kitchen handles kids' dietary needs graciously. The steep hillside and lack of a kids club mean it is not built for toddlers or strollers.
medium confidence
What you'll enjoy
- Two beaches plus reef snorkeling from shore
- SUPs and kayaks for older kids
- Gluten-free and dietary requests handled
- Never feels crowded
Heads up
- No kids club or dedicated kids programming
- 126+ steps between rooms and beach
- Open-air rooms without AC may not suit little ones
Peace & Quiet
StandoutOne of the most peaceful luxury retreats in the Caribbean: rooms are spaced far apart, evenings are scored by whistling frogs and waves, and the vibe is quiet nature, not resort bustle. Entertainment is local and low-key.
high confidence
What you'll enjoy
- No room-to-room noise
- Whistling frogs and surf as soundtrack
- Low-key local evening entertainment
- Never feels crowded
Resort includes full‑service spa (Kai Belté), PADI dive centre, yoga classes, hiking/biking trails, tennis court, fitness centre access, art gallery, library and boutiques.

“My husband and I came here to celebrate our honeymoon/one year wedding anniversary. We couldn't have chosen a more beautiful place. The view from the balcony was stunning, beaches were amazing, staff were so wonderful, and food was delicious. It was truly an unforgettable experience and we've already talked about going back for future milestone anniversary. Snorkeling was excellent. The marine reserve area to the left had lots to sea, central sandy and sea grass area often had sea turtles,...”

“There's a lot of things that were amazing about our stay at Anse Chastenet. The top of the list- the people that work here.... They are kind, courteous and go above and beyond to make your day wonderful!! They have Chick-fil-A level of service in truly Caribbean style... They were very accommodating of all our requests and never turned us down for anything we asked, one sweet employee " you're on vacation, don't feel bad to let me know if you need us to make your drink better" Peter the...”

“I was at Anse Chastanet in February 2025. A beautiful bay where even the dark sand doesn't detract from the experience. Fantastic food, whether breakfast or dinner. A small, hillside hotel, the Charles, is entirely open-plan with ventilation. The service is superb, always with a smile. Some other guests could learn a thing or two from them. I highly recommend the Catameran; it has everything you could want. If you can't relax here, it's your own fault.”
