Why travelers love it

“Secluded luxury resort on Soldier’s Bay with multiple small beaches and lush gardens”

Guests consistently praise the serene setting in lush gardens, attentive service, and the variety of room types from beachfront rooms to villas and penthouses

Best for couplesBest for familiesBest for luxury travelersBest for quiet escapes

Food & drink

Strong

Three restaurants (Palm, Reef, and the standout Cove) deliver genuinely high-standard cooking with attentive service, and the all-inclusive package is largely à la carte rather than buffet. Long stays may find Reef and Cove menus repetitive, and non-AI guests face steep à la carte prices.

Dining overview

Three main restaurants (Palm buffet for all meals, Bartley’s Caribbean dinner, The Cove French‑Caribbean dinner) plus bars; dinner always by reservation, buffet breakfast and a la carte; some premium menu items excluded from all‑inclusive

Beach

Strong

Three small cove beaches with clear turquoise water and plenty of loungers, more intimate than expansive. Sea conditions are calm and good for swimming, though the scale is boutique, not Grace Bay.

Editorial beach rating

Three small white‑sand coves tucked into Soldier’s Bay; soft sand and crystal‑clear water, though some rocky areas and size feels small relative to the property

Pools

Standout

Three distinct pools, including a quiet adults-only pool with in-water beds and the Reef infinity pool overlooking the bay, are a genuine highlight. Cove Villas add private plunge pools.

Editorial pool rating

Multiple freshwater pools including an adults‑only pool, plus private pools for villas and penthouses; Carolyn’s and Veronica’s pool bars overlook the sea

Adults-only pool

Rooms & suites

Range from Superior Hillside Rooms to beachfront rooms, plus Cove Suites, Cove Penthouses, villas like Pelican House and Turtle Cottage, and the Rock Cottage; many bathrooms include claw‑foot tubs and large closets

Room details here are AI-assisted, compiled from the resort's own website and public sources. Categories and names change often — confirm the exact room when you book.

What’s included

Strong

For the all-inclusive package, guests overwhelmingly feel it delivers; for room-only or B&B stays, the à la carte pricing plus 20-something-percent tax and service can sting. Rooms and bathrooms are the softest spot against the luxury price tag.

Package inclusions and upgrade access have not been collected yet. Confirm them for your room and dates when booking.

Amenities & activities

Couples

Ideal

A genuine honeymoon and anniversary favorite: quiet coves, adults-only pool, romantic turndown service, and a Cove restaurant made for sunset dinners. Couples repeatedly rebook.

Families

Good fit

Despite the refined boutique feel, families with kids from toddlers to teens thrive here thanks to a kids club, free non-motorized watersports, and staff who arrange golf, boat trips, and snorkeling. Multigenerational groups fit especially well in the villas.

Peace & Quiet

Standout

Peaceful is the whole point: a secluded property on Soldier's Bay with lush gardens, hidden lounger nooks, and a genuinely laid-back atmosphere. Evening entertainment stays low-key.

Spa offering Elemis treatments, fitness centre, tennis court, non‑motorized watersports, free parking, free Wi‑Fi in public areas, concierge service for villas

“Gorgeous hotel. They upgraded our room and gave us the best experience we could hope for on our anniversary trip. 5 star service and rooms. Recommend the Cove for dinner or the Palm with live music. The manager Nicole gave us lovely advice for experiences off the hotel site. We did the inclusive breakfast and loved it with top service from Derah everyday! Highly recommended and would go back again!”

Know before you book

  • small beach areas can feel crowded
  • Wi‑Fi spotty in places
  • some dinner options excluded from all‑inclusive and room service fee
  • Coves are small, not sprawling

What you should know

What to Know

Book the all-inclusive to avoid sticker shock on food and drinks, and reserve à la carte dinners in advance since venues are small. Rooms lean traditional and a bit worn, so lean into beachfront or villa categories.

Dinner reservations required for all restaurants; some dinner menus not included in the all‑inclusive; room service carries a delivery fee; Wi‑Fi can be spotty in parts of property
