Why travelers love it

Guests praise the quiet, leafy grounds, warm and attentive staff, and a peaceful yet activity‑rich family atmosphere.

Food & drink

Mixed

Consistently good food for a budget Cuban all-inclusive, though expect occasional shortages typical of the island.

Dining overview

The resort offers a buffet restaurant, a specialized à la carte restaurant, a beach grill/snack-bar, and three bars.

Beach

Strong

The beach is the headline draw, a calm stretch that keeps repeat visitors coming back.

Editorial beach rating

Wide white‑sand beach with calm turquoise water and good snorkelling thanks to nearby coral reef; beach is well maintained and seaweed is cleaned regularly.

Pools

Mixed

Pool specifics barely register in the guest record, though a swim-up bar is on property.

One main pool plus a children’s pool and a swim‑up bar; poolside activities daytime and evening entertainment per schedule.

Strong

Priced and positioned for budget travelers, and it delivers on that promise without pretending to be luxury.

Amenities & activities

Couples

Stretch

A small, relaxing beach setting with a warm ambiance suits low-key couples who prize quiet over glamour.

Families

Stretch

Nothing in the guest record speaks to family infrastructure, and the remote Santa Lucia location makes it a stretch for kids.

Peace & Quiet

Standout

This is a genuinely peaceful, secluded escape where the small scale lets you get to know fellow guests.

Includes spa, tennis court, water sports (snorkelling, kayaking, windsurfing), bikes, animation team with day and evening programs, children’s activities.

What past guests say

“Part of Sirenis tropical resort, a must visit if you visit the resort.”

★★★★★

“No one around. I had the entire pool to myself but there’s no restaurants and no bars and nobody at check-in. It’s completely deserted which made my stay very enjoyable and quiet. There is no food or booze! Lol”

★☆☆☆☆
Carl Brewer via Google Maps·via Google

“This is hilarious. I stayed at this place when it was called the Occidental Allegro Veradero. Changing the name hasn't covered up the horridness of the place. I went back a year later and stayed further out on the peninsula at the place that has a globe in its lobby. It was called the Barcelo Paradius Princess.. was worth spending the extra money. If you go avoid staying in the city if you can.. go further out for better quality”

★☆☆☆☆
Darrel Marchick via Google Maps·via Google

“Horrible rooms and food. The two stars are for the beach only.”

“Bravo club and LaBranda are the same place.”
