Why travelers love it

“All‑inclusive hotel in Marina Hemingway, Havana with 170 rooms and a relaxed, family‑friendly vibe”

Guests consistently appreciate the convenient access to Marina Hemingway and shuttle service to Havana. Many enjoy the laid‑back, water‑side setting and the value for an affordable all‑inclusive option.

Food & drink

Mixed

Not enough on-property dining feedback to judge the kitchens here. Come with modest expectations for a mid-range Havana all-inclusive and plan to explore Marina Hemingway options nearby.

low confidence

Dining details coming soon.

Beach

Weak

This is a marina hotel, not a beach resort. If sand and swimming are priorities, book elsewhere on Cuba's north coast.

Detailed beach reporting coming soon.

Pools

Mixed

A pool is part of the mid-range all-inclusive setup, but recent feedback does not detail the scene, service, or upkeep. Set expectations at functional rather than resort-showpiece.

One large outdoor pool with a children's area and jacuzzis, a sun terrace, and a pool bar.

Rooms & suites

170 rooms

170 air‑conditioned rooms including standard doubles, triples, matrimonial and connecting rooms. Each has satellite TV, minibar, phone, private bathroom and many offer views of the pool or marina.

Room details here are AI-assisted, compiled from the resort's own website and public sources. Categories and names change often — confirm the exact room when you book.

What’s included

Mixed

Pricing sits in the affordable Havana bracket, but a recent report of a paid booking arriving to a closed hotel is a serious value red flag. Confirm directly with the property before you travel.

Package inclusions and upgrade access have not been collected yet. Confirm them for your room and dates when booking.

Amenities & activities

Couples

Stretch

Nothing in recent feedback speaks to a romantic atmosphere, and the marina setting is more functional than swoon-worthy. Couples chasing Havana romance will do better in Vedado or Old Havana boutique stays.

Families

Stretch

Family-friendly on paper with a kids club and all-ages policy, but there is little recent evidence of families actually enjoying the property. Treat it as a budget base rather than a kid-focused resort.

Peace & Quiet

Strong

Tucked inside Marina Hemingway west of central Havana, the setting skews low-key rather than party-heavy. Expect a relaxed pace with minimal nightlife energy.

Amenity offerings include massage and beauty center, disco/nightclub, shops, car‑rental desk, tour desk, business/meeting rooms, laundry services and free shuttle bus to Havana.

What past guests say

“We had a reservation paid for online, and when we arrived we found out the hotel was closed. We were left stranded in the middle of the night without a place to stay. Luckily, the driver was very kind and took us to find somewhere else.”

“It smells bad, it's dirty, they ask for money to serve you before they even start. It's disgusting.”

“Visit the pool, which is open to anyone who wants to spend a day there without being a hotel guest. It costs 1000 Cuban pesos. Years ago, this pool was one of the most sought-after places to visit; everything was immaculate. Unfortunately, that has changed, and for the worse. The pool's edge is covered in mold, and the statues representing the pool's logos, parades, pelicans, etc., around the pool are all broken and deteriorated. The bathrooms had no water, no electricity, and no water in...”
