Food & drink
MixedFood is hit or miss: solid buffet breakfasts and hot meals when the kitchen is on, but limited variety and only a couple of restaurants mean repeat menus and long waits.
high confidence
What you'll enjoy
- Good breakfasts
- Hot buffet served consistently
- Menu rotates for longer stays
- Bar drink list posted with ingredients
Heads up
- Only two restaurants, one often closed
- À la carte reservations hard to secure
- Drink quality called lousy by some
- Limited seafood variety
Dining overview
Three main restaurants serve buffet breakfast, lunch and dinner; one transforms into a steakhouse à la carte nightly. Afternoon snack bar and three bars plus nightclub provide beverage options throughout the day.

What past guests say
“I agree with Laura’s assessment of the hotel word for word. She posted before me. We were there 10 days and it was 10 days too long. Got no sleep and my partner and I got very sick. Wanted to leave after 3 days but were not well enough to travel. This hotel is popular for Mexicans to stay at. It is not a hotel for people looking for a vacation you wold expect for so much money. WestJet has no business adding this to their list of all inclusive destinations. We were not on the transfer list...”

“I loved everything, but I don't know if it's pet-friendly. If anyone knows, please let me know. Thanks.”
★★★★★
“The hotel isn't as nice as it looks in the photos, the rooms are old, the food has no variety and isn't good either; the only redeeming feature is the friendly waiters.”
