Flamingo Cancun Resort — all travelers all-inclusive in Cancun, MX. Detailed editorial coming soon.

Food & drink

Mixed

Buffet-driven dining that's solid for the price but repetitive over long stays; the pizza at Don Roberto and the beach-side Albatross are the real highlights.

Dining overview

Four ocean‑view venues: international buffet, beachside a la carte, pizza bar, and pool snacks and bar; varied formats and cuisines.

Beach

Strong

The beach is the reason to book: clean sand, gorgeous water, and postcard views from the property. The catch is a critical shortage of loungers.

Wide scenic beachfront with soft white sand and palm trees; chairs under straw umbrellas; some overcrowding during peak periods.

Pools

Strong

Two pools with very different personalities: a lively (and noisy) interior pool and a smaller ocean-view pool that's calmer but chronically short on loungers.

Editorial pool rating

Two outdoor pools and a sea‑view jacuzzi; swim‑up bar not offered.

Swim-up bar

Rooms & suites

Multiple room categories from Standard to Swim‑Up Ocean‑View Jr Suite; all have private balconies and daily‑restocked minibar.

Room details here are AI-assisted, compiled from the resort's own website and public sources. Categories and names change often — confirm the exact room when you book.

What’s included

Standout

For a beachfront all-inclusive on Kukulkan Boulevard at $150 to $200 a night, this is one of the strongest value plays in Cancun, as long as you don't expect a polished 5-star product.

Package inclusions and upgrade access have not been collected yet. Confirm them for your room and dates when booking.

Amenities & activities

Couples

Stretch

A low-key spot for mellow couples who want beach time over romance theater; honeymooners get small in-room surprises, but there's zero adults-only polish and street-side rooms can wreck the mood.

Families

Stretch

Small, calm property that works for easygoing families and multigenerational trips, but there's no kids club programming or entertainment to speak of.

Peace & Quiet

Strong

One of the quieter properties on the Cancun strip: no nightly shows, no club, no rowdy crowd. Peaceful for some, dead for others.

Includes kids club, gym, spa with massages (fees), Jacuzzi, event and wedding spaces, excursions and transfer (fees), free parking, medical service (fees), currency exchange, laundry (fees).

What past guests say

“We had an excellent stay at Flamingo Resort Cancun! The bartenders were amazing and made every day fun and enjoyable. Alexa the Butler was absolutely excellent — very helpful, professional, and always made sure we were taken care of. The staff overall did a wonderful job and we truly loved the place. The only negatives were that the Wi-Fi was off and on most of the time, which was frustrating at times. Also, the pizza station employee would not allow guests to bring pizza back to their room and ”

“For the price of this hotel, it is excellent value for money. It is absolutely pristine and the staff are incredibly friendly and helpful. The food and drink is good. The buffet in the main restaurant is nice with the expected selection you get from AI buffets. The beach restaurant is wonderful and the views are outstanding. No booking required by the way. Top shelf drink is premium like Malibu, Captain Morgans, Smirnoff etc. The 2 pools are great. Our room (503) was fantastic. The view was exce”

“Upon arrival, check-in took about 15 minutes and the staff were friendly. Unfortunately, the stay went downhill after that. Our group booked two rooms (3 people and 2 people), but they were placed on opposite sides of the resort. When we entered the first room, the door was already open and it was clearly not cleaned—there was hair in the sink, a half-used toilet paper roll on the counter, dresser drawers open, the TV on, patio door unlocked, and the minibar drinks tossed around the fridge. “It was an amazing time with Samuel, Ricardo and Alberto including the Chef from the pizza place. I was here about 2 and half years ago and let me tell you everything got better including the drinks. Food was good and room had an amazing view. The water filters in the hall ways are a great touch. Music at the pool by the beach would be nice if allowed, even relaxing music like the one in the main pool.I will definitely come back thanks guys.”

“My family and I recently stayed at the Flamingo all inclusive hotel in Cancun. We were a family of 8 adults and we rented four rooms. One of the rooms needed to be changed because the air conditioning was not working. We also had issues in my deluxe ocean front room (clogged sink, clogged shower drain, curtain to the balcony did not close all the way and after maintenance came to repair it, it did not open at all and some of the room doors did not close all the way and this is a security issue w”
