Why travelers love it

“Unique all‑ages resort with cave spa, private beaches, and the only optional all‑inclusive plan in Bermuda”

Guests consistently praise the natural cave spa experience, private pink‑sand beach and easy access to water sports. Families value the all‑inclusive convenience and proximity to the airport.

Food & drink

Strong

Food punches above expectations with a British-flavored breakfast, thoughtful dinners, and a chef who accommodates dietary needs; the optional all-inclusive package is the smart way to eat here given Bermuda's brutal restaurant prices.

Beach

Strong

The private bay is the emotional center of the resort: calm, clear, uncrowded water framed by cliffs, though you'll navigate a set of steps to reach it and shouldn't expect roving beach service.

Private pink‑sand beaches with calm, swim‑friendly waters and plentiful lounge chairs close to the pool area.

Pools

Mixed

The pool is functional rather than a showpiece: adequate for a swim and warm enough most of the year, but tired around the edges with a single small hot tub that guests have flagged as grimy.

Editorial pool rating

A mid‑size freeform swimming pool with swim‑up bar overlooking the beach, plus an outdoor hot tub set in gardens above the beach.

What’s included

Strong

For Bermuda, which punishes wallets, the optional all-inclusive with free bus and ferry passes is one of the smartest value plays on the island; pay room-only or nightly rack rates and the math flips against you fast.

Package inclusions and upgrade access have not been collected yet. Confirm them for your room and dates when booking.

Amenities & activities

Couples

Good fit

A quietly romantic pick for anniversaries and honeymoons, with a couples massage in the cave grotto that guests call unforgettable and enough peaceful corners to feel secluded even on a family-friendly property.

Families

Good fit

A genuinely family-friendly Bermuda option where the all-inclusive, private beach, and on-site caves keep kids busy without breaking the bank; family suites give real space and the vibe balances kid energy with island calm.

Peace & Quiet

Strong

One of the more peaceful stays on the island, with quiet rooms, hidden garden nooks, and a low-key evening pace; the loudest disruptions tend to be roosters and nesting birds, not other guests.

Tennis courts, dive shop and PADI courses, gym, cave spa, snorkeling, kayaking, paddle boarding, playground, live entertainment, bus and ferry passes included in all‑inclusive.

“Kinda old & run down.”

“Rooms were gross with horrifyingly sticky plastic floor netting, black mold smell and all around vents. Overall, dirtier than I take my martini! Many of the staff were insolent and rude. View was nice but you can get that pretty much anywhere in Bermuda.”

★☆☆☆☆

“Worst hotel in Bermuda Old, not clean, rude service, everything is always closed so can’t get a drink or coffee at convenience. No housekeeping. And had to wait an hour after check in time to get a room. I don’t know how this place is still open.”

Know before you book

  • Steps down to the swim area
  • No beach servers bringing drinks
  • Small beach footprint compared to south shore
  • Dinner menu selection feels limited

What you should know

What to Know

Set expectations for a well-loved but aging property mid-renovation: book the all-inclusive, request an upper floor away from ground-floor mustiness, and inspect your room on arrival for AC noise, mold, or a broken lock before unpacking.

BDA nearest airport

Property is hilly with no elevators; rooms all exterior‑corridor cottages. All‑inclusive must be purchased for minimum three nights. Packages include bus and ferry passes—skip renting a car.

Good to know

  • All‑inclusive is optional supplement, not default
  • Cave spa and grotto access may include cooler water
  • No elevators—stairs throughout property
