What’s included
WeakPriced and marketed as a four-star, the reality lands closer to a two or three star: staff and setting are lovely, but rooms, food variety, and maintenance don't justify the rate.

- Rooms dated, some with mold or broken fixtures

“Excellent customer service. Great rooms.<br>Very few chairs at the beach.”

“I just returned from 7 day stay here, celebrating a friend's milestone birthday and loved it. Yes the villas are older but it had everything single thing you need. Clean bed and room, lots of towels, lots of space and beautiful surroundings. If you are looking for the newest most modern property stay on the Azura side. The location is amazing, the beach is beautiful, clean and safe. Lots of beach chairs and some shade from trees and coverings. If you are fair skinned and burn easily like...”
★★★★★
“Excellent location and a very good overall experience. A very charming villa—slightly dated, though, with bathrooms in need of modernization. The service was perfect as far as we were concerned: Diego, Liz, Luis, Kennett, Alejandro (the chef), Quemelin(?), Wilkin... and the rest of the staff: everyone was ready to provide the best possible service—smiling, and attentive to our needs.”
★★★★☆
“I wanted to love my stay at Hotel Villas Playa Samara because the staff is so genuinely friendly. However, the experience was hindered by a clear lack of resources and training, having to repeat every request multiple times was a recurring theme. The buffet was decent, though it felt more like a 3-star offering than the 4-star experience advertised. The rooms had too many flys. The beach was lovely. Overall, a bit of a letdown for 4 stars.”
