Why travelers love it

“Modern all‑inclusive resort on Varadero’s wide white‑sand beach with family and adults sections”

Guests consistently praise the beachfront location, varied pool areas including adults‑only options, and well‑landscaped grounds.

Food & drink

Strong

Cuban all-inclusive fare that's plentiful and satisfying if you set expectations accordingly, with a standout à la carte scene led by chef Félix. Variety thins in winter and repetition is the most common gripe.

Dining overview

Main buffet plus four à‑la‑carte restaurants (Italian, Cuban, Japanese, Steakhouse), snack bar, multiple bars including rooftop panoramic venue

Beach

Standout

One of Varadero's cleanest stretches: wide, soft, and well-groomed, with chairs almost always available and attentive beach staff even in rough weather.

Located on Varadero’s wide white‑sand beach; some guest reports of rocky patches and erosion, but still praised for sunsets and sand quality

Pools

Strong

Multiple pools including a swim-up bar and swim-out suite pools, all kept clean and staffed by standout bartenders like Ernesto and Mariam.

Editorial pool rating

Several pools including adults‑only, kids’ pool, splash pool and swim‑up bar; poolside hammocks and umbrellas enhance the variety

827 rooms

About 827 rooms in three sections: Family, Hotel (all‑ages), and Elite (adults only) including swim‑out, seaview, junior suites

What’s included

Strong

Widely called the best quality-to-price ratio in Varadero, with repeat visitors on their third, fifth, even 25th trip. Star Prestige upgrades pay off; the base experience is solid Cuba all-inclusive.

Package inclusions and upgrade access have not been collected yet. Confirm them for your room and dates when booking.

Amenities & activities

Couples

Good fit

Works well for a romantic week if you book Star Prestige with the swim-out room and rooftop access, but bar noise near ocean-front suites can wreck sleep for light sleepers.

Families

Good fit

A genuine family win thanks to entertainers Adys and Mayara running a beloved mini disco and kids' program, plus a wide safe beach and easy pools.

Peace & Quiet

Mixed

Lively by design, with beach and pool animation, lobby-bar parties, and 24/7 bars audible from lower ocean-front rooms. Not a hushed retreat.

Spa, fitness centre, kids club with splash pad, water sports centre, mini‑club, multi‑purpose and tennis courts, evening entertainment

What past guests say

“I do not write reviews, but I do not want you to waste your money and suffer as I did. This place is the worst which you can ever imagine for your vacation. I booked an Ocean front suite and for the whole duration of my trip I did not sleep at all, because of all the bars which are open 24/7, they are right below me. I changed 4 suites, downgrading the type of room to escape this noise 24/7, of course no one reimburse me the difference between room types, forgot some of my clothing, during the s”

“1. Staff: The local staff is very friendly, polite and professional. They were always ready to help with any of our problems. It was kinda sad when staff has changed, because they really remember all of their guests and their preferences.
2. Room: our maiden Yanet made sure that everything was exceptionally clean and organized. She left a cute note that made our day when we came back from the beach one day.
3. Food: we read a lot of opinions on the internet saying that there is a...”

“We stayed from Feb. 6-13. Very disappointed to learn that staff will steal from you if you don’t lock everything up, despite tipping well and leaving supplies/items to help them through this terrible time. Our AirPods were stolen right from our belongings, security doesn’t speak English. Staff also asking our friends to go and fill up their own drinking cups with alcohol while they were at work. We won’t be back. The manager Susan (Susie) was not helpful at all with getting our AirPods back....”
