Why travelers love it

“Friendly, family‑friendly mid‑range resort with a beachfront location in Varadero”

Guests consistently highlight the resort’s stunning beach and welcoming staff. Its compact layout makes it easy for families to navigate and relax.

Food & drink

Strong

Buffet is varied and tasty by Cuban standards, with standout pastries, fresh fish, and pineapple, plus 24/7 snacks and a few à la carte options on site. Expect occasional shortages and some bland dishes, and know that reserving anything beyond the buffet takes effort.

Dining overview

One buffet restaurant and two specialty à la carte (Japanese Sakura and Cuban El Criollo), plus a pool snack bar; buffet and show‑cooking style and mix of international and Cuban cuisine

Beach

Standout

The beach is the headline: soft white sand, clean warm water, and consistently rated among the best stretches in Varadero. Staff keep it tidy and safe, with fresh coconuts and drinks brought to your lounger.

Editorial beach rating

Long stretch of white sandy beach with loungers and covered areas; excellent swimmability and picturesque setting

Pools

Strong

A clean, well-kept pool with lively music, activities, and standout bartenders like Julio keeping drinks flowing. Not sprawling or themed, but a happy central hub for the resort.

Editorial pool rating

One main swimming pool and a children’s pool with a pool bar; compact and family‑oriented

Rooms & suites

272 rooms

272 rooms in one four‑story building plus 17 two‑story villas; all include air conditioning, minibar, safety deposit box, satellite TV, balcony or terrace

Room details here are AI-assisted, compiled from the resort's own website and public sources. Categories and names change often — confirm the exact room when you book.

What’s included

Strong

Solid value for a Cuban four-star, especially given the beach and staff, though you must calibrate expectations to Cuba's current supply realities. Not the place to expect European-standard finishes, but the price reflects that honestly.

Package inclusions and upgrade access have not been collected yet. Confirm them for your room and dates when booking.

Amenities & activities

Couples

Stretch

A relaxed, low-key spot that works well for couples wanting quiet beach days, evening shows, and warm Cuban hospitality rather than romance-forward luxury. Dated rooms mean it suits easygoing pairs more than honeymooners chasing polish.

Families

Good fit

A genuine family favorite in Varadero, with a kids club led by beloved staff, a safe swimmable beach, and animators who engage all ages. Small footprint means little ones can roam easily and parents can actually relax.

Peace & Quiet

Strong

Small size and laid-back Varadero setting keep the mood calm and unhurried, with music and shows adding energy without ever tipping into party territory. A solid pick if you want to actually hear the waves.

Non‑motorized watersports, fitness centre, mini club, evening entertainment, tennis, sauna and spa (fee), shops, tour desk, medical service (fee)

“Amazing resort. The friendliest most accommodating staff. Food is fantastic. Pool and beach pristine. Entertainment staff are such great fun. Alex the Social Media Manager is the best and most helpful. Would totally recommend coming here. Jannia from public relations is amazing and the most friendly sexy lady. Manuel the entertainer makes sure everyone is having fun. Drinks are flowing and Julio knows what to pour without asking. Evis is a cracking laugh and great with everyone of all ages”

“Having a great time. Weather was perfect, cool in the morning sunny and hot in the afternoon. Food was good but a little short on selection, desserts really yummy. The staff was friendly, courteous and helpful, especially Alex the social media person who helped us get a reservation at Waco for Valentine's Day and arranged the taxi service.”

What you should know

What to Know

This is Cuba, so pack patience along with essentials, and know that à la carte reservations, hot water, and premium liquor can be inconsistent. Bungalow rooms are the upgrade worth paying for, and a little Spanish goes a long way.
