Why travelers love it

Guests consistently praise the unbeatable beachfront location and friendly, welcoming staff. The resort offers a laid‑back, intimate Jamaican vibe at a value price.

Best for budget‑conscious familiesBest for laid‑back beach staysBest for local‑culture immersion

Food & drink

Mixed

Buffet-style meals lean simple but satisfying, with authentic Jamaican dishes and interactive chefs winning over even picky eaters. Choices are limited, so plan on venturing off-property for variety.

Dining overview

One beachfront restaurant and bar offering buffet style meals and drinks under the all‑inclusive plan. Food options are simple Caribbean fare. Guests can use facilities at sister resort Samsara via shuttle.

Beach

Standout

The headline reason to book: soft white sand, crystal-clear water, and legendary sunsets on Seven Mile Beach, with starfish rolling in at dusk. Shade and personal-item security are the caveats.

Editorial beach rating

Sits directly on Seven Mile Beach with soft white sand and warm clear water. Beachfront area is small and can get crowded; loungers and umbrellas provided but limited supply.

Pools

Mixed

A small, quiet pool that plays a supporting role to the beach. Fine for a dip, but no swim-up bar and towels aren't always stocked.

Editorial pool rating

Two pools: a small one on the beach side and a larger one in the garden section across the road. No towels provided. Garden‑side pool has a spacious sundeck.

Rooms & suites

50 rooms

Approximately 50 basic air‑conditioned rooms divided between garden‑side and beachfront sections. Rooms are dated, some with balconies or partial ocean views; no in‑room fridges or safes.

Room details here are AI-assisted, compiled from the resort's own website and public sources. Categories and names change often — confirm the exact room when you book.

What’s included

Strong

Priced as a budget beach stay and best judged that way: you're paying for the beach and the staff, not the rooms or amenities. Book expecting a rustic guesthouse, not a resort.

Package inclusions and upgrade access have not been collected yet. Confirm them for your room and dates when booking.

Amenities & activities

Couples

Stretch

A low-key, romantic beachfront perch with unreal Seven Mile sunsets, but the rustic rooms and open-air layout mean couples chasing polish or privacy should look elsewhere.

Families

Good fit

A surprisingly solid low-key family pick on Seven Mile Beach, with a picky-eater side menu and staff who greet returning kids by name. It is not a kids-club resort, so entertainment falls on you.

Peace & Quiet

Strong

A calm, boutique-scale escape with a small pool, background music, and no party scene on-property. If you want peace with Seven Mile Beach at your doorstep, this delivers.

Amenities include two pools, beach bar and restaurant, spa/massage services, free Wi‑Fi, tour desk, gift shop, and shuttle access to the spa and pool facilities at sister resort Samsara Cliffs.

What past guests say

“Our stay at this resort was a complete nightmare from start to finish. What was supposed to be a relaxing vacation ended with us having to abandon our room, forfeit our stay, and urgently book a different hotel just to feel safe and clean. Here is a breakdown of why I strongly advise avoiding this property: Severe Pest Infestation: The hygiene conditions in the room were atrocious. We discovered bed bugs, which is completely unacceptable for any hospitality standard. On top of that, once...”

“Great little hidden gem in the middle of Negril. Close to everything walking distance and the beach is less than 2 mins walk. I am currently here celebrating my 50th birthday and I couldn't have landed in a better location for my first time in Jamaica. The staff is exceptional but extra points to Vanessa (waitress) Jean (morning/afternoon chef) O'Neill (dinner chef) and The beach security guard Michael. Every day we were greeted like family and not like tourists which I appreciate....”

What you should know

What to Know

This is a small, rustic beachfront hotel, not a polished all-inclusive resort, and setting that expectation makes or breaks the trip. Guard your belongings on the beach and budget for meals out.

MBJ nearest airport~90 min transfer

Bring your own beach towel early to secure shaded loungers. Rooms lack fridges; can rent one for about US$12/day. Shuttle to Samsara gives access to better pool and spa. Expect dated rooms; greet staff by name if you want personalized service.
