Why travelers love it
“An All Inclusive hotel in Cayo Coco for an unforgettable holiday with your family”
Guests love the wide sandy beach and clear shallow water, friendly staff, and social pool area. The resort offers plenty of activities and is close to the airport.
Food & drink
MixedBuffet is workable rather than exciting; the à la carte rotation (Italian, Asian, Mediterranean) and beach charcoal grill are the real bright spots. Bring your own hot sauce and condiments, a repeated tip from returning guests.
high confidence
What you'll enjoy
- Italian, Asian, Mediterranean à la cartes rotate nicely
- Beach charcoal grill is a highlight
- Omelettes made to order at breakfast
- Special touches like turkey on Christmas Eve
Heads up
- Buffet can be bland and repetitive
- Occasional supply shortages hit à la carte menus
- One-off reports of pests around buffet stations
Dining overview
Five restaurants including buffet, Italian, Cuban, Asian, and grill, plus snack bars. Buffet is open daily, à la carte with reservations; food variety can be limited due to supply.

Beach
StandoutThe headline reason to book: white powder sand, crystal-clear shallow water, no seaweed, and plenty of chairs and huts. Repeat visitors of 20+ years still call it the best beach around.
high confidence
What you'll enjoy
- White powder sand, no seaweed
- Warm, shallow, crystal-clear water
- Ample chairs, huts and shade
- No vendors, no harassment
Heads up
- Occasional closures reported off-season
Long, wide beach with fine white sand, calm shallow water, and ample loungers. Some periods of seaweed occur but staff make efforts to keep it clean. Limited natural shade; palapas available.
Pools
StrongPools are well maintained and become the daytime social hub thanks to the animation team's games and a solid swim-up bar. Not architecturally dramatic, but they deliver.
high confidence
What you'll enjoy
- Well-kept pools with clear water
- Swim-up bar with named favourites like Erlin and Daniel
- Pool games run daily by animators
- Family-friendly and adult activities alternate
Heads up
- Towel-service rules can catch guests off guard
- One report of towels removed from chairs with a fee demand
The resort has two freshwater pools. The main pool includes a children's area and a relaxation area, with scheduled activities. A second, quieter pool is also available.
Rooms & suites
508 roomsStandard rooms are spacious but basic and show age; premium rooms have newer furnishings. All rooms have balconies or terraces. Some areas renovated, others older.

What’s included
MixedFor the price, the beach, staff warmth and entertainment punch well above weight; for anyone expecting polished all-inclusive standards, the dated rooms and maintenance gaps sting. Arrive with Cuba-realistic expectations and it's a bargain.
high confidence
What you'll enjoy
- Very affordable for the beach quality
- Short 15-minute airport transfer
- Loyal repeat guests over decades
- Strong entertainment included
Heads up
- Rooms feel tired, some with mold, plumbing or A/C issues
- Supply shortages can affect food and amenities
- Full-price expectations rarely met without adjusting mindset

Amenities & activities
Couples
StretchA quiet, unpretentious spot that repeat couples return to for the beach view rooms and family-style hospitality. Not a romance-forward resort, but oceanfront superior rooms and calm neighbouring beach make it work for low-key getaways.
medium confidence
What you'll enjoy
- Superior oceanside rooms with sunrise beach views
- Peaceful stretch of beach with few crowds
- Repeat couples on 4th and 8th visits
- Warm, familial staff attention
Heads up
- Dated rooms lack romantic polish
- No dedicated adult zones or upscale dining
Families
Good fitA genuinely kid-friendly Cuba pick, anchored by the animation team, pool games, and a shallow, gentle-entry beach. Charity's kids programming gets named repeatedly.
high confidence
What you'll enjoy
- Charity and the animation crew run great kids activities
- Shallow, warm, easy-swim water
- Pool games for adults and children together
- Mini-disco and evening shows kids love
Heads up
- Rooms are dated and maintenance issues can frustrate parents
- Limited food variety may test picky eaters
Peace & Quiet
StrongWith neighbouring resorts closed, the beach is unusually quiet and the overall vibe is peaceful. Evenings bring lively animation shows if you want them, but you can easily escape to a hushed shoreline.
high confidence
What you'll enjoy
- Neighbouring resorts closed, beach feels private
- No beach vendors or hassling
- Peaceful, humble atmosphere
- Yoga sessions with Cecilia for early calm
Heads up
- Some outside noise can affect sleep
- Evening animation is loud near central pool
Includes a spa, gym, water sports, daily entertainment, tennis, and kids club. Sun loungers are available on the beach and pool deck.
Water sports included
- catamaran
- pedal boats
- windsurfing

“I stayed at this hotel for 1 week in Jan 2026. I would advise people not to use this hotel for the following reasons, we had to move rooms 3 times and had no phone in the room, no hot water for 3 days, stolen pants and 1 beach towel taken from our room, beach towels taken from our seats at the pool and wanted us to pay $50 american. The food was disgusting, the ice creme had so many cockroaches running on it they closed it down. Black birds flying in eating food off the buffet and peoples...”
