Why travelers love it
“Beachfront all‑inclusive resort for guests 16 and over in Cayo Coco”
Guests consistently praise the beautiful white‑sand beach and friendly staff who go the extra mile, especially the entertainment and bar teams.
Food & drink
MixedBuffet is plentiful with fresh fruit, bread, and decent variety, and the Italian à la carte is the standout. Standards are Cuban, not gourmet, so expect solid rather than spectacular.
high confidence
What you'll enjoy
- Buffet variety and fresh fruit
- Italian à la carte is the pick
- Good pizza on hand
- Attentive buffet servers
Heads up
- Ordinary by non-Cuban standards
- Repetitive proteins (weiners and rice complaint)
- One-off hygiene complaint in buffet hall
Dining overview
International buffet plus four à la carte specialty restaurants (Italian, Asian, Mediterranean, Cuban) and a 24‑hour snack bar and beach bar.
Beach
StandoutThe beach is the headline: powder-white sand, turquoise shallows, and a stretch that regulars compare favorably to Playa Pilar. Sargassum can appear in bad weather but is cleaned quickly.
high confidence
What you'll enjoy
- White sand, crystal-clear turquoise water
- Wade out for hundreds of yards
- Diamond Club beach service with Fidel and Alain
- Cleaned promptly after seaweed
Heads up
- Narrow at high tide, walks get tight
- Seaweed possible in stormy weather
White‑sand beach with calm shallow water, a wide sandbar to walk out on, scenic and typically uncrowded.
Pools
StrongA social main pool with a swim-up bar and daily animation keeps things lively. Servers bring chairs and drinks, and the vibe stays fun without feeling chaotic.
high confidence
What you'll enjoy
- Swim-up bar
- Daily pool games and animation
- Staff set up chairs for you
- Bartenders remember your order
The resort has a large central swimming pool that features daytime entertainment, activities, and a swim-up bar.
What’s included
StrongFor the price, especially on two-week stays, this is a strong Cuba value anchored by the beach and staff. The Premium upgrade divides opinion sharply, so weigh it carefully.
high confidence
What you'll enjoy
- Two weeks costs barely more than one elsewhere
- Beach and staff punch above the price
- Warm, repeat-guest atmosphere
Heads up
- Premium upgrade underwhelms some guests
- Room condition inconsistent with what you paid
Package inclusions and upgrade access have not been collected yet. Confirm them for your room and dates when booking.
Amenities & activities
Couples
Good fitA relaxed, affordable spot for couples who want a beautiful beach and lively evenings without a luxury price tag. Weddings and anniversaries are handled with genuine warmth, though dated rooms can undercut the romance.
medium confidence
What you'll enjoy
- Stunning beach for sunset walks
- Wedding team (Lesly) praised
- Al Fresco bungalows feel secluded
- Piano bar has a professional-quality show
Heads up
- Rooms are dated and inconsistent
- Hot water issues can spoil the mood
Families
StretchTechnically 16-and-over, but multigenerational travelers with teens report a blast thanks to nonstop entertainment and a shallow, calm beach. Not the pick if you have young children.
medium confidence
What you'll enjoy
- Calm, wadeable water
- Constant pool and beach activities
- Warm, family-style staff welcome
Heads up
- Age restriction rules out young kids
- Dated rooms and infrastructure quirks
- Mosquitoes in July–August
Peace & Quiet
StrongThe Al Fresco bungalows near the lagoon deliver genuine peace and seclusion, while the main pool and beach hum with animation. You choose your volume.
medium confidence
What you'll enjoy
- Al Fresco lagoon bungalows are peaceful
- Secluded pockets across the property
- Beach walks feel exclusive
Heads up
- Entertainment crew is loud and constant near pool
- Occasional lagoon odor depending on wind
Includes fitness classes, entertainment programs, wine tastings, non‑motorized water sports, and evening shows like beach parties and water ballet.
