Food & drink
StrongPlenty of variety and better than expected for Cuba's price tier, with fresh options across the buffet and snack bars. Occasional shortages of mixers and cola come with the territory, not the kitchen's fault.

- Italian and Creole à la carte praised
- Better than typical Cuba resort food
Heads up
- Occasional mixer and cola shortages
- Some meals arrive lukewarm
Dining overview
Multiple buffet and a‑la‑carte restaurants offering local and international cuisines; casual open‑air and specialty dining available, plus several bars including swim‑up bar
Beach
StandoutThe beach is the headline: long, beautiful, and consistently called the best part of the stay. Some shell and rock patches near certain buildings, but the left side is soft and easy.

- Long stretch of stunning sand
- Soft entry on the left side
- Shaded loungers available
- Repeat visitors return for the beach
Heads up
- Rocks and shells near some entry points
Long white‑sand beach with loungers and umbrellas; water turquoise and swimmable, occasional rocks near shore and water shoes recommended
Pools
StrongA huge, wide pool with plenty of loungers, shade, and animators running games and dancing throughout the day. Service is friendly and drinks flow.
high confidence

- Very large pool
- Ample shaded loungers
- Fun pool games and animation

What’s included
StrongOne of the strongest price-to-experience ratios in Cuba, especially for repeat visitors who know what to expect. You are paying for the beach, the staff, and the fun, not for polished facilities.

- Staff go beyond despite shortages
- Sunwing packages often very affordable
Heads up
- Facilities showing age and water damage
- Not a 5-star product
- Paid upgrades sometimes not honored
Package inclusions and upgrade access have not been collected yet. Confirm them for your room and dates when booking.

What past guests say
“Spent a week there in mid Jan 2026, the room was very clean and the service was top notch. There was plenty of food and drinks. Weather was great and resort was clean.”
★★★★★
“Memories Flamenco in Cayo Coco was our first visit to Cuba, and it greatly exceeded our expectations! There was plenty of food to choose from, rooms were comfortable, pool was huge, and the beach is absolutely stunning.<br>This isn't a 5 star resort, so if youre looking for a bougie vacation, this may not be the place for you. There were occasional issues with toilet paper running out in public bathrooms, finding cola was rare, and sometimes you would have to switch up your favourite drink...”

“Wonderful vacation spot, views and resort amenities were fantastic for the price. If you're looking for a great value vacation, this would definitely be one I recommend to friends and family. Unfortunately the resort was experiencing some problems due to the fuel shortage, however I do not believe that should reflect on what the stay would be like to others. I pray that the US figures it's mess out sooner than later so that the people running and working at this resort can continue to give...”

“Really nice views super friendly staff but none of them know what is going on. The complete lack of communication is super annoying and the biggest thing is they serve alcohol to minors seen a 14 year old getting pretty drunk and the staff did not care.”
★★☆☆☆
“Our stay was honestly a great memory from start to finish. We were upgraded to a premium room with an ocean view, which immediately set the tone for the trip. Everything felt smooth and welcoming, the staff, the vibe, the layout of the resort. The room was bigger than expected, always spotless, and cleaned so efficiently we barely noticed housekeeping coming in. The food was one of the highlights - lots of variety, fresh options, and meals that didn’t feel heavy even when we ate more than usual.”
