Why travelers love it

“Mid‑range beachfront all‑inclusive resort in the heart of Cancun’s hotel zone”

Guests consistently praise its unbeatable location, family‑friendly vibe, varied pool options and strong service from staff

Food & drink

Mixed

Food is the resort's soft spot: a small buffet with limited variety, and à la carte dinners that book up fast (or close entirely, as happened in May). Fine for a budget-conscious week, uninspiring past day three.

Dining overview

The resort has three main restaurants: La Veranda (international buffet), El Mirador (Italian a-la-carte), and El Oriental (Asian a-la-carte). It also has a snack bar and several bars.

Beach

Strong

The beach is the standout: a clean, beautiful stretch of Cancun hotel-zone sand with direct resort access and paid cabanas that come with attentive service.

Editorial beach rating

White‑sand beachfront with direct access; beach generally clean outside April–August when sargassum can accumulate despite cleanup efforts

Sandy beach with ocean, thatched umbrellas, and tall hotel buildings along shore.

Pools

Strong

Pools are compact but sociable, powered by a legendary bartender (Didier) and an activities crew running water aerobics, foam parties and pool games all day.

Editorial pool rating

Multiple pools including kids’ splash area and an adults‑only pool; poolside activities and DJ

What’s included

Strong

A solid budget play in the Cancun hotel zone, especially when discounted: you're paying for location, beach and service more than food or facilities. Go in with midrange expectations and you'll leave happy.

Package inclusions and upgrade access have not been collected yet. Confirm them for your room and dates when booking.

Amenities & activities

Couples

Stretch

Workable for a low-key romantic trip or anniversary, especially with the honeymoon suite and its large balcony, but this is a family-forward property without a dedicated adult vibe.

Families

Good fit

A genuinely family-friendly midrange pick: kids club with themed party nights that free up date nights, family suites, and staff who look after big multigenerational groups.

Peace & Quiet

Mixed

Not a quiet retreat: nights bring DJs, foam parties, Latin nights and pool games run by an energetic animation crew. Lively rather than rowdy, and things wind down at a reasonable hour.

Includes spa, fitness center with sauna/steam, beach and pool activities, non‑motorized water sports like kayaks and snorkeling, kids’ activities

“We enjoyed the activity with the animators Monse and Yara; they support our little ones' activities within the facilities.”

“The truth is, the hotel is lovely and offers many activities, but my room had a leak, although the view was nice. On the other hand, very few waiters treat you well, and they take a long time to take your order and bring your food. I think they need to improve their efficiency in the restaurants. As an experienced hotel, they should be able to handle multiple guests. I do want to mention that one of the managers who was attentive and not rude was Carlos, the manager of the Italian...”

“Much of the hotel is under renovation. Upon arrival, half of the lobby is closed, and only two restaurants are open (à la carte). The buffet restaurant is not open. However, the food is excellent, 10/10, everything is delicious, and the waiters are very friendly. It's a very well-located, centrally located hotel, and very quiet for a relaxing vacation.”
