Why travelers love it

Guests consistently praise the friendly and attentive staff and the clean, beachfront location in walking distance to shops and restaurants

Best for familiesBest for location‑focused staysBest for value‑conscious travelers

Food & drink

Strong

The buffet earns steady praise and the Golden Zone location puts dozens of outside restaurants within an easy walk, so dining options extend well beyond the property.

Dining details coming soon.

Beach

Standout

Direct access to a beautiful stretch of Mazatlan sand with iconic sunset views between Deer and Bird Island is the property's headline feature.

Detailed beach reporting coming soon.

Pools

Strong

The pool is consistently called out as nice and well-kept, a reliable daytime hangout between beach sessions.

Editorial pool rating

Features a freeform ocean-view pool with waterslide; pool area can feel crowded and loud

Rooms & suites

125 rooms

Offers junior suites, one‑ and two‑bedroom suites, plus penthouses; most have kitchenettes and ocean‑view balconies; rooms are spacious but somewhat dated

Room details here are AI-assisted, compiled from the resort's own website and public sources. Categories and names change often — confirm the exact room when you book.

What’s included

Mixed

Priced for its location rather than its finishes: you're paying for beachfront in the Golden Zone, not a modern resort experience.

Package inclusions and upgrade access have not been collected yet. Confirm them for your room and dates when booking.

Amenities & activities

Couples

Stretch

Sunset views between Deer and Bird Island from oceanfront balconies give couples a romantic anchor, though the resort skews family and social rather than intimate.

Families

Stretch

Spacious junior suites with kitchenettes suit families in theory, but maintenance lapses and a rigid cancellation stance have burned travelers planning around kids and elders.

Peace & Quiet

Weak

This is a lively Golden Zone property that hosts margarita-and-dancing events and sits near the strip, so expect energy rather than seclusion.

Amenities include an ocean-view pool with a waterslide, beach access, room service, a full-service spa, and a fitness center.

“I'll start with the reception service—it was terrible. They asked for my INE (Mexican voter ID), I gave it to them, and they just lost it. From then on, it was bad. Then the bellhop and valet parking service was much worse—completely unhelpful and unwilling to assist you. And then there's the 100-peso daily charge to take your car out or put it in a parking lot that's completely dark and full of old, run-down things. And then be prepared to spend another 500 pesos because they charge you for...”

“It's a hotel with unique architecture, beautiful, with beach access. It just needs a lot of maintenance because it's old; the rooms have a few cockroaches, the elevators sometimes don't work, and they should replace their kitchen furniture with more modern pieces. Otherwise, I like it.”

★★★★☆

“The location and the staff's service are good, but keep in mind that the hotel is very old, the facilities are neglected and smell strongly of damp, and the furniture is broken and rusty. There are mold or mildew stains at the entrance to the room. And there are tiny cockroaches.”

“We only went for a day pass to explore the place, and it was very pleasant. The staff was excellent, and the food was delicious. Highly recommended.”
